This Christmas

This was a pretty great Christmas.

I got the cutest little Polaroid camera for Christmas 

and even though I didn't take any of these pictures with it 

here are some pictures from this Christmas season, Polaroid style.

 We chopped down our own Christmas tree this year 

(one of my favorite Christmas traditions)

then went to this sweet little diner on the way home. 

It has so much character :)

 We also decided to go a little bit more crazy with our lights this year

(usually we only have the lights on the rain gutters)

so the Saturday before Christmas we put the extras up and I built that star. 

I love it.

 I spent a bunch of time with my little buddies :)

 and look at my cute parents :) 

love them.

The Murdock Family

This family was so fun to work with!
I could definitely feel the love and warmth they all share with each other.
These parents have done an amazing job!
It's no wonder God gave them so many children :)

Summer 2012

These pictures basically sum up this past summer.

(I realized I have this bad habit that I should probably fix if I wanna be a photographer,

 its called I hardly ever have a camera with me so I hardly ever take pictures.)

Anyways.....this summer consisted of...

Getting a job at Jamba Juice that I absolutely LOVE.

Gardening. Which I also absolutely LOVE. (I'm not even being sarcastic.)

Eating candy cereal (Lucky Charms)

Spending almost every living breathing second with my favorite boys in the world. 

(those cute little blonds above, if you weren't sure who I was referring to)

Eating angel sandwiches at the Sandwich Tree.

A little bit of swimming and going to the drive-in and eating sushi and painting and reading.

Birthdays. Noahs, Elizabeths, and mine. 

(Oh I'm 18 by the way. No big deal.)

A trip to my home state CALIFORNIA.

Making new friends.

One Year Old

Happy 1st Birthday Noah!!

Graduation

 I don't know if you heard but, I GRADUATED!!

And as you can see above....and kind of below, I'm excited.

Off to my last day of High School.

I'm not sure how to feel about it.

It's bitter sweet, but mostly sweet.

Graduation is next week, wish me luck!

Prom

I went to Prom with one of my bestest friends, Cade Williams. 

We looked great and had a awesome time.

A Birthday

Today we celebrated my big brother Ben's birthday.

Hot Potato

This weekend I played...

A different version of hot potato.

I've always liked hanging out with guys better than girls.

An Exercise Ball

 but he actually does like it.

A New Trend

This morning in English 

the boys sitting next to me 

commented on the way I was dressed.

One said, 

"What's going on with your shoes and socks?"

The other said, 

"Why are your socks over your pants?"

I don't really remember what I said but I think it was something like, 

"Well I don't know... it's a new trend. 

I thought I looked cute."

One boy then proceeded to tuck his pants into his socks

(the other wasn't cool enough to do the same)

 

I'm not saying I started a trend, but I'm definitely spreading it.

Senior Project

One of the requirements to graduate from Hillcrest High School is doing a twenty hour senior project.

For my project I painted a mural, with my friend Chelsea, in her basement's game room.

(We did this during the summer so I never bothered to do my hair or make-up)

I had so much fun doing the project and I'd say it was successful.

I presented last night and passed with flying colors!!
