Since preparing for my mission, I was able to go through the Idaho Fall Temple.
It was such a great experience.
The Temple is truly a sacred place where you can feel closer to your Heavenly Father.
I am so grateful for my experiences there and so grateful I was able to go through with people I love.
So here are some pictures.

Mission Call
Sometimes I go nine months without updating my blog...
and my life tends to change pretty drastically.
(I may be exaggerating a tiny bit.)
I finished my first year of college at BYU-Idaho and I loved almost every second of it.
(College is the best F.Y.I.)
I love that school with all my heart and that little old town of Rexburg Idaho.
I had amazing roommates and made amazing friends.
Life Happened.
My brother came home from his mission.
My Sister had a third baby boy.
I worked.
I played.
I loved.
and......
drum roll.....
I turned in my papers and received MY MISSION CALL!!
There is no way I could have ever predicted what my life would be like right now, but I can truly say that I love it.
I'm so blessed and life is so, so great.
The whole process of turning in my papers seemed to go by so fast!
In a way I guess it all started October 2012 when they changed the mission age to nineteen for girls. Right then and there a mission became a lot more real to me, but I still had 10 months until I was nineteen so I pushed it to the back of my mind, and there it stayed until...June(ish)
Before June I had never really kneeled and prayed about going on a mission, but the semester was ending soon I felt like my life needed some sort of direction.
The thought of a mission still kind of scared me, so my prayer was simple.
I kneeled in prayer and asked my Heavenly Father is I should start my papers (not if I should go on a mission.) The answer was simple and clear - start your papers and as long as it feels right, keep going.
I started my papers and the blessings started flowing in.
I felt happier, less stressed and excited for the future.
I turned my papers in by the end of the month and the greatly anticipated day came.
It was July sixth, a Saturday night and my roommate and I made a spontaneous decision to attempt an ombre on my hair.
As we're half way through my hair, my phone started ringing, it was my dad.
"Is Sister Eddy there?"
Dad asking for "Sister Eddy" was a dead give away and I immediately knew why he was calling.
"No way. No way! Did it come?" I asked as tears came to my eyes.
Chelsea busted through the rest of my hair and I drove home as fast as I could.
During the whole process of turning in my papers I tried to keep it on the down low.
(My mom was dying to post on Facebook about it or tell all her friends)
So when I opened my call we kept it low key.
Just me and my family.
I opened the letter and read those famous lines,
(famous to the LDS community at least)
Dear Sister Eddy:
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
You are assigned to labor in the Washington DC South Mission......etc.
I was and still am ecstatic!
In fact I grow more and more excited for Washington DC everyday
WASHINGTON DC.
We recorded it, but of course I cried....so I'm still not sure if I want to post the video.
