Sister Missionary Fashion: Part 1

Probably one of the most (superficially) appealing things about serving a mission as a girl, is the new wardrobe you get to create. Who doesn't like buying new clothes right?
And guess what? You don't even have to break the bank.

The key is to be smart when buying those clothes sisters!

(First) Read up on those missionary guidelines! Memorize them so you don't have to go back and check in the middle of a shopping trip.
(maybe even consider starting to live the guidelines now instead of later)

(Second) Inventory your own closet. See what you already have and decide what else you really need.

(Third) Shop smart.
My secret weapon is thrift stores, use your creativity and try refashioning some pieces.
I found a thrift store that lets you fill a grocery bag as full as you can for $5. I ended up getting three dresses, two skirts and three shirts in one bag. That's less than $1 for each item!
Some pieces needed some work, and after a couple trial and errors with refashioning two of the dresses, I decided to just toss them. But that is okay because they were less than a dollar!!!
